CODE (Canada) A Canadian NGO with over 50 years of experience, CODE supports literacy and learning in Canada and around the world. CODE’s international programs encourage development through education through support to libraries, professional development for teachers, as well as national and local book publishing in 20 languages.
World Literacy of Canada World Literacy Canada (WLC) is a small, secular, registered charitable organization that uses literacy to fight poverty and advance the cause of social justice. We support and deliver a range of community-based education projects in Canada, India, and Nepal.
International Book Bank The International Book Bank increases literacy and advances education by procuring and donating books and other educational materials to developing countries. (USA)
Book Aid International (UK) Book Aid International increases access to books and supports literacy, education and development in sub-Saharan Africa. We provided 543,280 new books to over 2,000 libraries last year alone and have sent more than 30 million books to partner libraries since 1954. (UK)
Books for Africa (USA) Books For Africa remains the largest shipper of donated text and library books to the African continent, shipping over 27 million books to 48 different countries since 1988. Over the past 12 months we have shipped 2.2 million books valued at $28.3 million to 22 African countries, with an additional 616 computers and 15 brand new law libraries. (USA)
