Check out this amazing animation of the Bayeux Tapestry.
Vey fun! I noticed that early on some of the music was taken from the Lord of the Rings score, and about 2/3 of the way through I recognized a snippet from Orff's “Carmina Burana.” Very well done. Thanks for posting this.
Good ear, A!
Intriguing on a number of levels. I'd be curious to know how much time the video actually took to produce. It certainly does a better job of explaining the conquest than many other resources.
Way too cool. I liked this!
I liked watching this and it is well done. But it made me think about how we aren't used to relying on images alone to tell a story. Hmmmm…have to think about this some more. Will probably post something on this later. Thanks for posting this.
Well, even the Bayeux Tapestry has text, which in the animation is translated into English.
WOW!!! Amazing what can be done with a computer and a little imagination.
