Did You Pay Attention In High School?

I think they mean, did you pay attention to your teachers in high school and not the dream boat in the next row? The only question I didn’t get was the one on Shakespeare. And I had to guess about the dangling modifier. That’s what I get for not taking English past grade 10!

You paid attention during 97% of high school!

85-100% You must be an autodidact*, because American high schools don’t get scores that high! Good show, old chap!

Do you deserve your high school diploma?

*or a Canadian

This looks like a fun one! I'm clicking over to give it a go…

  2. Andrew says:

omg, that's appalling. I got 80%. That's quite embarrassing, as I had a good education in the private sector in the UK

  3. Sylvia says:

Tsk tsk! I did think the Immaculate Conception question was unfair–since when do public schools teach Catholic trivia?

  4. Dorothy W. says:

    Phew — 100%. I'm relieved — I did do lots of guessing, I'll admit.

  5. Andrew says:

Second time round I got 91%, changing my “not sures” to the second choice.

  6. Chuck says:

I got 97%, too. I don't know which one I got wrong, though. Probably the dangling modifier. (And I took English right to the end but I think we stopped getting grammar instruction in junior high.) Maybe we should compile a list of answers for comparison.

  7. Wil Cone says:

I got a 97 too. Makes me wonder which question(s) is only worth 3%.

  8. Stefanie says:

With my husband helping me remember math (ouch!) I (we) got 100%. On my own I got 87%

  9. Sylvia says:

Two heads are better than one, eh? πŸ™‚

  10. Stefanie says:

Yes, especially when he can do calculations in his head! I need paper pr a calculator and most of the time he still has the answer before I do. It's just fair!
