Myers-Briggs Made Relevant

Check out this hilarious Myers-Briggs personality typology. If you don’t know your type, take this test first. Here’s part of what it says about my type:

The INTJ’s combination of analytical problem-solving skills and complete and utter disregard for the morality or consequences of his actions also make him ideal for the job of hatchet man, CIA operative, and helpdesk operator.

Under “Compatibility” it says:

Silly person, INTJs don’t have relationships! They may, however build their own friends.

However:

INTPs make ideal companions to INTJs, as neither of them notices they’re in a relationship.

The whole thing is quite funny. It’s a joke, right? Right?

OMG!!! It's us! To a tee!

  2. Sylvia says:

Well, I think the helpdesk operator part is a little harsh… πŸ˜‰

  3. Susan says:

I think it must be true, Sylvia. I mean, I had no idea I was in a relationship with you.

  4. Sylvia says:

Me neither! I guess I won't have to build my robotic friend now. That leaves me more time to construct my anti-tailgater missile system…

  5. Stefanie says:

Wow. I'm an INTJ too and it's just too creepy that the website knew I was planning on installing a missile launcher on my car. They neglected to mention the mini launcher I am designing for my bike though πŸ˜‰

  6. Julie says:

    Stefanie? You too?

  7. Stefanie says:

Yup. Do you think obsessive bookish types tend to be INTJs or is it just coincidence?

  8. Sylvia says:

I think INTJs have that combination of bookishness and geekishness that makes us perfect for blogging.

  9. Wil Cone says:

Hey! An INTJ party! I'd love to spend some time socializing…ohh wait…no I wouldn't.

  10. Sylvia says:

Maybe if we called it a “meeting” and had something productive to do we could handle it…
